Located just 2 miles from the fantastic sand/surfing beaches of Widemouth Bay and Bude, families can enjoy a traditional beach holiday, combined with visiting the wealth of local attractions. The cottage is also an excellent base for walkers and bird-watchers, being within easy reach of the Cornwall Coastal Path, Bude Marshes Nature Reserve and picturesque Bude Canal. There is so much rugged coastal scenery to explore in this unspoilt part of Cornwall and Marhamchurch itself is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Those seeking an active holiday will also find the cottage conveniently placed: Cyclists can explore the many cycleways in the vicinity, including the Camel Trail. There are a number of stables in the area and there are numerous opportunities for water sports/rock-climbing.
For those in favour of more gentle pursuits, coarse fishing is available nearby, as are various gardens and National Trust properties. The world famous Eden Project is only about an hour’s drive away and closer still are Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
